From root to sky: closing art exhibition reception featuring jazz musician, kevin jackson

Tribe 55+, a collective of creative Black women over 55, proudly presents “From Root to Sky: Our Ancestral Paths and Boundless Dreams,” an inspiring exhibition that
celebrates heritage, resilience, and boundless creativity. This dynamic showcase runs from May 4 to May 31, 2025, at MAXgallery in Baltimore, Maryland.

Through visual and literary arts, “From Root to Sky” explores the profound influence of ancestral legacies and the limitless aspirations that drive these artists to create and enrich their communities.  The artistic diversity of styles and mediums in this show guarantees that there’s something to  appeal to everyone.
