This 8-week immersive experience draws inspiration from two remarkable works on creativity: “12 Notes On Life and Creativity” by Quincy Jones and “It’s Never Too Late to Begin Again” by Julia Cameron. Participants will engage in their choice of practical artistic techniques, ranging from collage, expressive writing and mindfulness practices, enabling them to express their creativity across various art mediums. This course provides a unique opportunity to explore the intersections of personal growth, artistic exploration, and a deeper connection with oneself. Each week we will delve into key themes and practices from the selected books, fostering a supportive and enriching environment for participants to thrive creatively. Sharon Burton of Spark Your Creative Coaching is serving as a Teaching Artist for Art Works Now and will be facilitating this course. This is a completely FREE program for ages 55 and better!
